We were asked to assist with the running of a Citroen C1 in the Silverstone 24 hour endurance race. A very difficult weekend both physically and mentally with the car being involved in an accident at 5am on Sunday. The car was repaired and finished the race strong, posting it's fastest lap in the last 10 minutes of the 24 hours.
A customer came to us with their Holden Commodore race car. We removed and inspected the Jerico 4 speed NASCAR gearbox. Whilst we had the gearbox out we rerouted the clutch hydraulic lines in order to negate issues caused by the clutch lines originally running over the exhaust manifold. These lines were custom made for the car and featured colour coded dry-break fittings to aid in quick removal and installation of the gearbox.
After being let down by usual local garages, Ollie was recommended to me by a friend that's used him to work on a few of his cars. Ollie did not disappoint.
